As part of SUNRATE's ongoing efforts to support a healthy and balanced work environment, we kicked off our very first Employee Wellness session—a refreshing yoga class led by Peiwen from the Marketing and Administration team, who is a certified Yoga instructor.
The session took place on 30 April at SUNRATE’s global headquarters in Singapore, located in the heart of the Central Business District at Asia Square Tower 1—one of Asia’s most sustainable and modern commercial landmarks.
Held in the open lounge space on Level 13, the class offered participants the opportunity to unwind with a series of gentle stretches and poses, all while enjoying the natural daylight and panoramic views of the city skyline.

Led by Peiwen, our certified in-house yoga instructor, the team unwinds with a midday flow.

Wellness initiatives like this are championed by the SUNRATE Employee Experience Committee, which plays an essential role in:
- Understanding employee satisfaction with welfare programmes;
- Enhancing employee welfare plans, themed activities, and engagement initiatives;
- Fostering a more ideal, holistic working environment for everyone
Through such efforts, the committee reinforces SUNRATE’s broader commitment to wellbeing—evident in its belief that supporting employee wellness is fundamental to cultivating a positive, high-performing workplace.
Scheduling wellness sessions during lunch breaks or after work hours offers employees a valuable pause in their day—helping them reset, recharge, and avoid burnout. Beyond the physical and mental benefits, the session brought together colleagues across different departments, encouraging casual interaction and enhancing team cohesion.
Moreover, employees like Peiwen are encouraged to bring their full selves to work—including the passions they cultivate beyond the workplace. Peiwen’s role as both a team member and certified yoga instructor reflects SUNRATE’s supportive culture, where personal interests are welcomed and celebrated. This not only fosters individual fulfilment but also contributes to a more vibrant and engaged work environment.
“When people are given the space to do what they love, it often leads to stronger connections, greater motivation, and a boost in overall productivity.”
- Peiwen, Brand Strategist & Motion Graphic Designer at SUNRATE (Singapore office)

The wellness session provided an opportunity for colleagues from different departments to interact informally.
This first wellness session marks the beginning of many more to come as we continue to explore thoughtful ways to invest in our people and promote holistic wellbeing across SUNRATE’s global offices.
